It is the brain and spinal cord disease which is potentially disable disease. In multiple sclerosis there is a destruction of myelin sheath, the function of myelin sheath is to cover the nerves fiber and provide insulation.

  • Lumbar puncture to check the presence of any organism
  • Blood tests to check complete blood count and autoantibody
  • MRI to see detailed images brain and spinal cord
Treatment

There Is no specific treatment available for multiple Sclerosis, following treatment options available to reduce signs and symptoms:

  • Plasmapheresis to separate the plasma from blood
  • Corticosteroids to reduce the inflammation
  • Medications to block the immune system
  • Physical therapy
