It is the rare condition which affect the neurological involuntary function like blood pressure, breathing, bladder function and motor control. Multiple system atrophy is degenerative neurological disorder.

There is no specific treatment available for this rare disorder. The aim of treatment is to manage the signs and symptoms, treatment options include:

  • Medications to increase blood pressure like pyridostigmine, midodrine, droxidopa.
  • Carbidopa and levodopa for parkinson’s symptoms
  • Treat impotency by giving sildenafil
  • Gastrostomy tube for swallowing problems
