It is defined as the birth defect which is characterized by outward protruded breastbone of child, sometime this abnormality may notice during adolescent stage.

Symptoms

The main symptoms of this condition are the outward protruded breastbone, sometime this condition is not notice until adolescent. Some people have problem in breathing during exercise.

Diagnosis

This condition is usually diagnosis at clinically during chest examination. Imaging tests like x-ray or CT scan may help to check the extend of disorder.

Treatment

Treatment options include bracing of chest or surgical procedure. If condition does not improve with brace then surgical option is left to treat this disorder.
