It is a hormonal disorder in which our adrenal glands which are present at the top of the kidneys produce increase amount of hormone called aldosterone.
The functions of this hormone is to maintain the level of sodium and potassium in the blood. Increase amount of this hormone leads to lose potassium and retain sodium.
