Body odor after sweating is normal after exercise or when you feel too warm and in hot weather. Sometime sweating occurs when your feel stress and anxious.  hyperhidrosis is defined heavy sweating and anhidrosis is lack of sweating.

Sweating produce by the sweat glands which is present in skin of your body. There are two type of sweat glands eccrine and apocrine glands.


There is no specific test for heavy sweating. You doctor may take you medical history to rule out the other causes and might recommend the urine and blood test to check any infectious causes of change body odor.


For sweating there is an easy option to combat with it:

  • Deodorant use will reduce the body odor.
  • Antiperspirant will decrease the sweating by blocking the sweat glands temporarily.
